The IronPigs (36-27) play Game Three of a four-game series against the fifth-place Syracuse Chiefs (31-33) at Alliance Bank Stadium... With a 5-2 win last night, the Pigs have won five of their last six games and have gone 8-3 in their last 11 contests... The Chiefs -- Washington's top affiliate -- have still won five of their last seven games. After starting 10-20 upon last leaving Lehigh Valley on May 6, the Chiefs have gone 21-13 in their last 34 affairs.

RHP Tyler Cloyd (5-1, 2.26) will start for LHV against RHP Yunesky Maya (4-5, 3.48) - a rematch of a Pigs' 4-1 win on 5/5.

First-Pitch is at 7 p.m... Tomorrow's game is at 10:30 a.m... With a win tonight, the Pigs will tie their season-best, high-water mark of 10 games above .500 (LHV was 28-18 on May 22).

With the win last night, the Pigs logged their 300th win all-time (300-339) -- 116 under the Ryne Sandberg regime (39%).

* It took the Pigs 236 games to win their first 100 games; 225 to win their next 100; and just 178 for their last 100 contests.

Since coming off the D.L. on 5/20 (left shoulder strain), LHP Tom Cochran has gone 2-0, 1.47 in 5 G, 3 GS (18.1 ip, 3 er)... He has also won back-to-back starts (6/5, 6/10) after after not winning since starting the season with back-to-back wins (4/7, 4/15).

* Take out the one outing before landing in the D.L. (4/29 @ SWB: L, 1 ip, 8 r, 7 er), and TC is 4-0, 2.27 in 9 G, 7 GS (39.2/10).
