Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (11-6) return home to play 13 games in 14 days at Coca-Cola Park beginning tonight with Game One a three-game series against the Buffalo Bisons (9-9) in Allentown... With a 3-2 loss on Sunday, the Pigs were swept in a rain-shortened, two-game series at Rochester and have now dropped four of their last five games. Lehigh Valley finished 2-4 on the North Division road trip.. The Bisons -- the Mets' top affiliate -- are coming off a 1-0 loss at Syracuse in Game Two of a doubleheader yesterday. But they did win the three-game series, 2-1, and have now gone 5-3 since a season-long, three-game losing streak.
LHP Pat Misch (1-2, 4.60) will start for LHV against RHP Dylan Owen (1-1, 4.91).
Tonight is Rich Thompson Bobblehead Giveaway Night (on his 33rd B-Day), presented by Coca-Cola... First-Pitch is 7:05 p.m.

The Pigs are a perfect 7-0 at Coca-Cola Park in 2012 and have extended to a franchise-best, nine-game home winning streak (going back to 2011)... Previously, the top mark came when the Pigs won seven straight at home 7/8/09-7/29/09... LHV has scored 37 runs in 7 home games (5.3 R/G), batting .235 with 5 HR... On the road, LHV has scored just 27 runs in 10 road games (2.7 R/G), batting .225 with 3 HR.
