Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The second-place IronPigs (73-58) play the finale of a four-game series against the West's second-place Indianapolis Indians (68-63). With a 2-0 loss last night, the Pigs have dropped back-to-back games and fallen to 2-3 on this 10-game road trip. Lehigh Valley has still emerged victorious in four of its last seven contests, but remains just 31-34 since June 16 -- when they led the North by 5.0 games... The Indians -- Pittsburgh's top affiliate -- have won five of their last six affairs against the Pigs, but have still lost six of their last nine overall. Once 11-23, the Indians have gone 57-40 since May 21...
RHP Scott Mathieson (2-1, 2.34) starts for LHV against RHP Sean Gallagher (5-12, 5.16).
First-Pitch is at 7:05 p.m... Following the game, the Pigs travel to Louisville to start a four-game series Wednesday.
