Invite-Only Tryout Camp to be Held This Weekend

The Sioux Falls Storm of United Indoor Football (UIF) will hold its final tryouts for the upcoming 2005 season this weekend at the Empire Golf & Sport Dome in Sioux Falls. The two-day event will begin on Saturday, February 19 and will conclude Sunday morning February 20 and is considered an invite-only tryout.

More than 30 players will compete for the remaining spots on the team's 45-man training camp roster. The team has already signed 10 players to contracts for the squad's first season in the UIF.

The tryouts are open to the public with practices on Saturday at 6:00 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. at the Golf Dome. The final day will consist of a Sunday morning session at 7:00 a.m. also at the Golf Dome.

The Storm will open play in the UIF March 19 in Omaha, Nebraska. The team's first home game will be "The Rematch" versus Lexington on April 9 at the Sioux Falls Arena.
