JOEY MENESES, Lehigh Valley IronPigs IL BATTER OF THE WEEK It was another fantastic week for Joey Meneses, who hit .400 with four home runs and led the International League with eleven RBI, seven runs scored, and 25 total bases. J.T. BRUBAKER, Indianapolis Indians IL PITCHER OF THE WEEK J.T. Brubaker helped the Indians pick up a pair of key road victories this week as the club tries to stay on top of the IL West Division and earn a berth in the Governors' Cup playoffs. Brubaker led the League over the week with 15.0 innings pitched, accomplished without allowing a walk while striking out 14 batters. He didn't earn the victory Monday night in Columbus, but the 7.0 one-run innings he tossed put the Tribe in position to win it with a 9th inning rally, 4-2. Then on Saturday night in

Toledo, Brubaker turned in his longest outing of the year with 8.0 innings of three-hit baseball, his lowest hit total allowed in seventeen starts. Indy blanked the Mud Hens 2-0, and now owns a 3.5- game edge over both Toledo and Columbus in the West with less than a month to go in the regular season. Brubaker lowered his ERA to 3.24 after his win Saturday, the 7th -lowest mark in the IL.

24-year-old J.T. Brubaker is in his fourth season as a professional pitcher after being selected by the Pirates in the 6th round of the 2015 draft. This is his first season pitching above the Double-A level. Brubaker is a native of Springfield, Ohio.
