Inspirational Bands To Team Up With Crystal Palace Baltimore At June 13 Game

Baltimore, MD - Crystal Palace Baltimore are excited to announce Faith and Family Night at the Saturday June 13th, 2009 match against the Wilmington Hammerheads at UMBC Stadium. The event will be anchored by a live concert performance by nationally-renowned Christian rock band, Family Force 5 and up-and-coming local act, Ashes Remain.

The game kicks off at 7:00pm and the concert will follow immediately afterwards. Individual tickets for the game and concert combined are just $16 (the same price as a regular Crystal Palace home game). A group rate of $14 per ticket is available only in advance for groups of 10 or more. About Family Force 5

Family Force 5, also known as FF5, is a nationally-renowned Christian, alternative rock band from Atlanta, Georgia. Formed in 2004, the band is made up of the three Olds brothers (Soloman or "Soul Glow Activatur" and twins Jacob and Joshua, "Crouton" and "Phatty," respectively) along with friends Nathan Currin ("Nadaddy") and Derek Mount ("Chap Stique"). Their first album, Business Up Front/Party in the Back, was released in 2006. They have toured extensively across the US and abroad, and have played at dozens of music festivals including the Alive Festival, Creation Festival and Warped Tour. The group has performed on CBS's The Late Show with Craig Ferguson, G4's Attack of the Show and twice on DirecTV's CD USA. About Ashes Remain

Also formed in 2004, Ashes Remain is Baltimore's foremost Christian rock band. The band has played at area venues such as the Recher Theatre, Sonar, Fletchers, The Funk Box and The Thunder Dome, and graced the stage at Awakening Fest 2007 in Centreville, Virginia. They were voted best band in Maryland by the Hard Rock Cafe. The five- piece has opened for such bands as Jeremy Camp, Collective Soul, Disciple, Downhere, SevenGlory, Mathew West, Barlow Girls, Laughing Colors, Madison Greene and Jimmie's Chicken Shack.
