New York Red Bulls II News Release
New York Red Bulls II will travel to face Monterey Bay F.C. on Saturday, July 23, at Cardinal Stadium.
After signing with Red Bulls II on July 14, Hassan Ndam will make his season debut with the club, being paired with Juan Castillo as center backs. Curtis Ofori and O'Vonte Mullings will serve as the fullbacks.
John Murphy will square off with his brother, James, as he gets the start in the defensive midfield alongside Michael Knapp.
The attacking options for New York include Wiki Carmona, Jesús Castellano, Jeremy Rafanello, and Jordan Adebayo-Smith. Rafanello will wear the captain's armband for the second time this season.
Giannis Nikopolidis will start in net for the third-consecutive match.
The New York bench will consist of Derrek Chan, Daniel De Leon, Christopher Cragwell, Arian Recinos, Bento Estrela, Nathan Worth, and Jonathan Filipe.
Kickoff is set for 10:00 p.m. ET, with coverage on ESPN+.
