Individual Tickets on Sale May 9

MARION, Ill. - Miners individual tickets will go on sale on Saturday, May 9 at 10 a.m. at the Rent One Park box office and at www.southernillinoisminers.com. Individual tickets are also available by calling the box office at (618) 998-8499.
The first 25 fans to purchase individual tickets will receive an autographed Ralph Santana bobble head doll as well as a 10 percent discount on any purchase made on Saturday at the Rent One Park General Store. An inflatable game from the McDonald's Fun Zone will also be set up outside the box office and available for children.
The Rent One Park box office will remain open until 3 p.m. Saturday and will be open during normal business hours until the end of the season.
"We're looking forward to another great season," Miners General Manager Tim Arseneau said. "Fans can see their favorite promotions and entertainers and some new ones at Rent One Park too."
Group ticket packages are already on sale. All tickets are based on availability.
The Miners will begin the 2009 season in Evansville on Friday, May 22. The home opener is scheduled for Friday, May 29 at 7:05 p.m. For the latest news and updates, visit
