Individual Game Tickets Go On Sale Saturday, February 22

ATLANTA (February 20, 2003) - The Atlanta Beat, Atlanta's women's professional soccer team, today announced that individual game tickets for all 11 home games of the 2003 WUSA season will go on sale this Saturday, February 22 through TicketMaster. The online sale begins at 9 a.m. and the outlet sale at 10 a.m. Saturday morning.

The Atlanta Beat's season kicks off on April 5 at 7 p.m. when the Beat hosts the New York Power at Herndon Stadium in downtown Atlanta. The 2003 schedule features 11 home games, with nine games on Saturdays, one Wednesday match and one Sunday match. This season's schedule features two matches versus Mia Hamm and the Washington Freedom on June 28 and July 12, two matches versus Brandi Chastain and the San Jose CyberRays on May 3 and May 7, and a midsummer clash with the defending WUSA Champions the Carolina Courage on June 7.

Tickets for Atlanta Beat home games range in price from $10-$45 and can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling the TicketMaster number in your area. New this season, groups of as few as 11 people qualify for a discounted group rate. Tickets for groups of 11 or more can be purchased in all seating categories and are priced as low as $6. For all fans under the age of 18 wishing to celebrate their birthday at a home game, the Beat is again offering the Birthday Club ticket package. The ticket package costs only $165 and is available for parties of 11, with each additional ticket costing $15. The package includes a ticket to a Beat game, party favors and a meal for each guest and the birthday boy or girl will receive a special birthday gift.
