
Indians Open Final Homestand of 2009 on Monday

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Indians open a six-game homestand on Monday when Toledo, the Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, comes to Victory Field for a 7 p.m. contest. The final stretch of home games goes until September 5 as the Tribe host the Mud Hens and the Louisville Bats, Triple-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds.
Mon. August 31 Toledo 7:00 p.m.
* Monday Dollar Menu -- For the final time this season, hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts, Cracker Jack and potato chips will be available for just $1 each.
* Indianapolis Ice Appearance -- Indianapolis hockey and baseball will meet as the Indiana Ice come to Victory Field to cheer on the Indians. Several Indiana Ice players and coaches will be in attendance as they get Indy excited for the 2009-2010 hockey season and help cheer the Indians on to victory. Fans can attend a meet and greet with Ice players and coaches and get a glimpse of the Clark Cup trophy.
Tues. September 1 Toledo 7:00 p.m.
* 2-for-1 Tuesday -- 2-for-1 coupons are available at participating Arby's locations for each Tuesday night game at Victory Field presented by Arby's restaurants and WJJK 104.5.
Weds. September 2 Toledo 7:00 p.m.
* Facebook and Twitter Night -- Fans can receive $3 off for any regular price ticket by entering a code which can be obtained on the Indians' Official Facebook or Twitter page (www.facebook.com/indyindians or www.twitter.com/indyindians). The discounted tickets are only available through Tuesday, September 1st. Discount will not be available the day of the game.

* Ticketmaster Family Night -- Thursday Family Nights are a great way to treat yourself and three guests to a night at the ballpark. The Family Night package includes four box seats, four hot dogs, four sodas and four Indians souvenirs for only $52! Family Night packages MUST be ordered in advance and through any Ticketmaster outlet.
Fri. September 4 Louisville 7:15 p.m.
* Friday Night Fireworks -- Everyone's favorite night of the week gets better with Friday Night Fireworks at Victory Field presented by Coors Light. Stick around after the game for a fantastic fireworks show shot from center field.
* Community Awards Night -- Indianapolis Indians corporate partners will be recognized for their various charitable efforts throughout the season
Sat. September 5 Louisville 6:00 p.m.
* Home Finale -- The Indians entertain the Cincinnati Reds' Triple-A affiliate in the final regular-season home game of 2009, presented by your central Indiana Toyota dealers. Gates open at 4:30 p.m.
* Team Awards Night -- End-of-the-Year player awards will be given away during a special pre-game ceremony. The Tribe's August Player of the Month and 2009 Most Valuable Player will also be recognized.
* Shirt-Off-Our-Back Night -- Fans can register to win a game worn jersey to be awarded by Indians players and coaches immediately following the game. All jersey's worn in the contest will be part of the register to win.
* Labor Day Weekend Fireworks Show -- The Indians will host a special fireworks show following the contest as fans can sit back, relax, and watch the Indians final home game of the season unwind with a spectacular display of fireworks shot off from center field.
