Indians Grind Out Wins Against Toledo & Defeat USA in O.T.

Indians fans waited 5-long weeks for the much anticipated home series between the Toledo Icediggers. On the road, the Indians won 9 out of their last 10-games, which were all road wins.The Icediggers played the Indians tough in the 2-game series, but it was the Indians 3rd and 4th lines that led the Indians to victory.
On Friday, the Indians fought off a Toledo comeback to edge out the Icediggers by a 4-3 score. On Saturday, it was the Indians grind line of Satterley, Pentecost (pictured right), and Curtis that led the Indians to a 4-2 victory. The line combined for 5-points including goals by Pentecost and Curtis. Curtis scored his first goal in an Indians uniform.
The Indians traveled to Ann Arbor on Sunday to play USA and came away with a 3-2 overtime win, extending their win streak to 10-games, and record to 32-2-6, for a leagueleading 70-points in the NAHL.
Marcotte Recognized for Scholastic Achievement in Accounting!
January 27, 2004--On January 27th, 2004, the Sault Area High School & Career Center recognized Marc "Tiger" Marcotte for his significant contributions during this past marking period in the Career Technical Program of Account & Financial Services.
According to Account & Financial Services Teacher Karen Corbiere, "Tiger is an excellent student. He is responsible, intelligent, and self-motivated. He has accomplished a great deal of work and has piloted a new computer simulation for the class. Tiger's work is of the highest quality and he serves as a role model for the class."
A special congratulatory letter was issue by Director of the Career Technical Education Director Julie Truckey. On behalf of the Indians organization, we would like to congratulate Tiger for his hard-work and most recent achievement at the Sault Area High School in the area of Accounting & Financial Services.
