OTTAWA â Starting this Saturday, the winner of the last regular season game each season between Montreal and Ottawa of the Canadian Football League will win the RONA Cup.
The trophy will be introduced at Friday's press conference at Montreal's Olympic Stadium, on the eve of the Renegades-Alouettes football battle.
"We know the Renegades always offer great performances when they face the Alouettes and RONA is proud to reward the winner of the last regular season game between the rivals, who are both our partners," said RONA National Marketing Director, Mr. Michael Brossard.
In addition to the trophy, RONA will donate $10,000 to the winning team, who will then give the money to a charity which encourages education and aims at lowering school drop-out rates.
