Sioux Falls Storm News Release

The Sioux Falls Storm of United Indoor Football (UIF) will be holding its inaugural "Donny Hilsenroth Mustaches for Charity" fundraiser on Saturday at the Sioux Falls Arena. To raise money, members of the Sioux Falls Storm Firefighter Combat Challenge team will sell fake "Donny Hilsenroth style" mustaches that fans can wear to the game vs. Colorado.

Mustaches will be sold at the game for $2 each or 3 for $5. All proceeds from the sale of the mustaches will go to the Combat Challenge team. Former Storm player and current assistant coach Donny Hilsenroth is a member of the Sioux Falls team. The Combat Challenge is a competitive event where firefighters from all over the country try to complete an obstacle course in the fastest time. The Combat Challenge has been featured on ESPN and is called the "Toughest Two Minutes in Sports." To see how grueling the obstacle course is, watch KSFY News on Monday, July 23 at 6 PM, where the challenge will be featured during the sports segment. The Sioux Falls team is made up of 14 members from the Sioux Falls Fire and Rescue Department. The team competes in both individual and relay events. The relay team, which is made up of five members, has qualified for the world championships in Las Vegas in November.

Tickets are available for both the first round playoff game this Saturday. The Storm will be taking on the Colorado Ice for a chance to advance to the Western Conference Championship. Fans can stop by the Sioux Falls Arena or visit ticketmaster.com to purchase tickets to either game. United Bowl III tickets will go on sale this Saturday starting at 10 AM.
