Impact defeats Carolina

CARY, North Carolina - After a delay of 135 minutes due to violent thunderstorms, the longest game interruption in club history, two goals from forward Peter Byers (45th and 83rd minute) led the Montreal Impact (10-10-4; 34 points) to a 2-0 shutout against the Carolina RailHawks, Saturday, at WakeMed Park, in Cary, North Carolina. With this 10th win, the Impact moved up to 6th place in the USL First Division standings.
