Illusion Face Outlaws In Rematch

December 8, 2009 - Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL)
St. Louis Illusion News Release

Glen Carbon, Illinois -- The St. Louis Illusion will try to avenge their recent loss when they take on the Texas Outlaws at 7:30pm, Friday December 11th at The Game Arena. The Illusion are currently 1-2 in the Eastern Division of the Premier Arena League, after losing 7-5 to the Louisville Lightning on Friday and dropping a 9-3 loss on the road at Texas on Sunday afternoon.

Led by some of St. Louis finest veterans and talented newcomers, the Illusion, who were shorthanded this weekend, are looking to put their losses behind them and come up with a strong victory this week.

"Playing two games within 48 hours is hard for our team, especially since all of our players have full-time jobs besides their commitment to the Illusion," said Head Coach and Owner Jamie Swanner. "We hope to put a stronger and healthier squad on the field against Texas this Friday."

Assistant Coach and Player, Justin McMillian stated, "We're very excited to have the opportunity to play Texas again this weekend. Although they beat us down there, we'll be fully rested and looking for revenge this Friday!"

The first 50 fans entering the gates will receive a First Touch Soccer Camp t-shirt, compliments of Core Soccer Training!
