IHL Dispersal Draft Results

July 2, 2009 - International Hockey League 2 (IHL 2) News Release

ROCHESTER, MI-The International Hockey League (IHL) conducted a draft Thursday to disperse players from the 2008-09 final roster of the Kalamazoo Wings, who will not participate in the 2009-10 season.

The order in which current Member Clubs selected players was based on their winning percentage in the final standings of the 2008-09 season, with the lowest-ranked team choosing after the two new Member Clubs, Dayton and Quad City, have selected. By choosing a player in the dispersal draft, IHL teams have the rights to the selected player for the 2009-10 season within the league.
