
IFL Readies for Week Two

The 2023 season officially gets into full swing this Friday as week two kicks off with the Tulsa Oilers playing their first game in franchise history. The Oilers will make the trip down to Frisco to face off against TJ Edwards and a team that dominated in their opener versus Green Bay.
Tulsa is looking to immediately gain some traction, while Frisco is looking to continue putting up big numbers. The Fighters defense also came up big with four interceptions in their opener.
Northern Arizona opens their season as part of the first of two Saturday night contests. The reigning IFL Champions are going to have a bit of a new look roster this season as they'll begin their quest to repeat against the Duke City Gladiators. The Gladiators have their starting quarterback, Nate Davis, back after being away for nearly a year due to an injury in last year's season opener.
Vegas is set to host Iowa in the later game on Saturday at 9:05pm CT. Dequan Neal, the 2019 league MVP, will make his Knight Hawks debut as he takes on one of his former teams in the Barnstormers. quarterbacks. Kickoff on Sunday at 12:05 pm CT.
Quad City will travel to San Diego to play the Strike Force after a close loss at home against Arizona. Quad City, last year's runner-up, will be looking to get on track and grab their first win of the season, while San Diego will be playing their first game of the season. Kickoff on Sunday at 5:05pm CT.
Arizona and Bay Area will cap off the week as they battle in the night game on Sunday. Drew Powell led the Rattlers to big win over Quad City and will look to replicate that success this week. Bay Area features a completely overhauled roster and high expectations. Kickoff on Sunday at 7:05pm CT.
