IFL mourns loss of Adam Pringle

January 19, 2009 - Indoor Football League (IFL) News Release

Richmond, VA: The Indoor Football League is suffering from coast to coast today after news that 31 year-old Adam Pringle, co-owner of the Muskegon Thunder tragically died in a snowmobile accident on Sunday. Adam was a leader in the IFL owners meetings as early as a day prior to the accident, spearheading improvements to the league and contributing beyond the expectation of any team owner.

This unique young man had the rare ability and the remarkable energy to serve not only as co-owner along with his parents Don and Julia, but also in management for the team and as a stand-out player on the field. "This is a sad day for all of us here at the IFL," stated league commissioner Tommy Benizio, "Adam was the heartbeat for a Muskegon team that epitomized the love of the game that this league is all about. He will be missed by all of us."

Pringle will also be remembered as the league owners will soon be discussing and announcing a way to honor his name through an annual league award. The IFL office is also accepting contributions for the family which can be made by contacting (804) 643-7277 and requests prayer for the Pringle family in this difficult time.
