IFL Announces Week Eleven Players of the Week

The Indoor Football League is proud to announce the Players of the Week for Week 11 of the 2022 season. Quad City Quarterback, E.J. Hilliard, takes Offensive Player of the Week. Duke City Defensive Back/Wide Receiver, Greg Dent Jr., earns Defensive Players of the Week. Special Teams Player of the Week goes to Green Bay kicker, Nick Jaworski.
E.J. Hilliard - OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
At this point of the season, with a crowded Eastern Conference, every game carries weight. Quad City's 47-44 win over Bismarck keeps them firmly in playoff position. The win was solidified by the abilities of Steamwheelers quarterback, E.J. Hilliard. He finished the night completing 13 of 18 pass attempts for 167 yards and three touchdowns. He added 76 rushing yards and three touchdowns on the ground. As impressive as this stat line is, you had to watch the game to get a grasp of the type of game-changer that is Hilliard. Under Hilliard, the Quad City Offense put up points on every possession, including three 4th down conversions (two for touchdowns).
Greg Dent Jr. - DEFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
With limited rosters, sometimes coaches need to just get their playmakers on the field. Greg Dent Jr. is listed as a Wide Receiver; and yet he is the Defensive Player of the Week. With Duke City thin at Defensive Back, Dent played both ways, and he played well. On defense he amassed three tackles, one pass break-up, one forced fumble and an interception returned for a touchdown. Not bad for a Wide Receiver that also had four catches for 59 yards and two touchdowns. Have a night, Mr. Dent.
Nick Jaworski - SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Green Bay kept their playoff hopes very much alive with their 30-27 win over the Iowa Barnstormers. The Eastern Conference playoff spots are up for grabs and Green Bay is right in it. Thanks, in part, to the excellent night turned in by their kicker, Nick Jaworski. Jaworski connected on three of four Field Goals and was a perfect four of four in PATs. When you win by three, getting 12 points from your kicker can't be overstated.
Week 12 kicks off on Friday night at 7:05 PM CST with a rematch of last week's nail-biter as Green Bay heads to Iowa. The weekend of football continues with five games on Saturday and wraps up on Sunday with Bay Area visiting Arizona. Catch all of the action on the IFL YouTube Channel.
