EVANSVILLE, IN.--- On day three of their 2011-12 training camp, the Evansville IceMen of the Central Hockey League announced the release of six players from the roster while at the same time introducing a new addition to the club.

General Manager/Head Coach Rich Kromm has placed on waivers defensemen Atte Rajajarvi and Chris Caranci and has outright released goaltenders Jonathon Willumsen and Matt Wagner along with center Eric Rex and right wing Chris Campanale.

Rajajarvi and Caranci had previously signed contractual agreements with Evansville while Willumsen, Wagner, Rex and Campanale had been invited to the IceMen training camp on tryout agreements. In his senior year of 2009-10, he was named team captain before promptly proceeding to top his Huskies team in point productivity. In 35-games, the Kamloops, BC product engineered 30-points on 14-goals, 16-assists with 22-PIM. With today's transactions, the IceMen training camp roster currently lists 25-players including 2-goal-tenders, 7-defensemen and 16-forwards.
