EVANSVILLE, IN.--- The IceMen pro hockey season is rapidly-approaching as the Evansville franchise gets ready to move into its new home of the brand new state-of-the-art Ford Center in downtown Evansville. With exciting prospects looming on the nearest horizon, the IceMen are set to present their fourth and final "Summer Special" as the last tune-up for the start of the 2011-12 Central Hockey League season.
For "ICEMEN LIVE" SUMMER SPECIAL IV scheduled for this coming Monday night, AUGUST 29TH from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on WEOA-AM 1400, "THE PUMP" live from SHOW-ME'S EAST, our very special guests will be megastar center TODD ROBINSON along with All-Star defenseman PHILIPPE PLANTE.
Both "ICEMEN LIVE" guests will be making their first-ever appearances on the IceMen team's popular radio program after both standout stars were signed to multi-year contracts earlier in this off-season by General Manager/Head Coach Rich Kromm.
This will be the fourth and final "ICEMEN LIVE" SUMMER SPECIAL for the 2011 IceMen off-season with the next radio show on the docket to launch the Evansville franchise second season in the AA/CHL.
The second season of "ICEMEN LIVE" and the regular season weekly Monday night radio shows will premiere on MONDAY NIGHT, SEPTEMBER 26TH returning to the standard two hours format from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Once, again, the IceMen exclusive radio flagship home of WEOA-AM 1400 will serve as radio host and SHOW-ME'S EAST will serve as live show host with the most. SHOW-ME'S EAST is located on Morgan Center Drive across from the Showplace Cinemas. Everyone is invited to attend the program and be part of the live studio audience with lots of fun, prizes and surprises always spicing-up the entertainment value of IceMen hockey fans very own hockey show.
