
IceHogs kick off online game-worn jersey auction

Rockford, Ill.- Rockford IceHogs fans can own a piece of the 2005-06 season. The IceHogs began this summer's first round of its game-worn jersey online auction on Tuesday. Fans can bid on the jerseys on the official team Web site www.icehogs.com.
The first auction features four players from the IceHogs' most successful campaign in club history. Rookies Robin Big Snake, Ryan Carrigan, Mike Letizia and veteran winger Rob Voltera have their jerseys on the auction block. Each of the four different jerseys are featured during this summer's first round of game worn jerseys, including the IceHogs home, road, alternate Hammer and alternate red jersey.
Throughout the course of the summer, the IceHogs online auction will feature at least one game-worn jersey from every player that was on the IceHogs final playoff roster. The auctions run in two-week increments and the current auction is set to close at 1 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13th.
