IceDogs Host Majors on Wednesday

The Mississauga IceDogs prepare to host the Toronto St. Michael's Majors on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at the Hershey Centre. Game time is set for 7:05pm.

AM640 Toronto Radio will be broadcasting the game live starting with the pre-game show at 6:35pm.
GAME NOTES
The IceDogs are facing the Majors for their fifth meeting of the season and currently have a 2-2 record against them.
Last season, the IceDogs split the season series against the Majors with a 3-3-2 record. The 'Dogs won back-to-back meetings against the Majors with a 5-4 overtime defeat in Toronto on December 8, 2005 and a 5-2 victory on December 9, 2005 at the Hershey Centre.
The IceDogs are currently riding a hot streak where they have won four of their last five games. Recent trade acquisitions Kyle Lamb and Kyle Knecktel had impressive performances in their debut as an IceDog on Friday, December 16, 2005. Line mates Michael Swift, Chris Lawrence and Jadran Beljo have combined for 26 points in their last five games and are proving to be an offensive threat to opposing teams each and every night. Coach Greg Gilbert has seen the 'Dogs power play improve in these past five games recording 15 goals with the extra man advantage. The IceDogs are looking forward to the second half of the season and continuing their drive for the playoffs.
