December 30, 2007 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Alpena IceDiggers News Release
Alpena MI: With only one day remaining in 2007 the Alpena IceDiggers will play host to the Traverse City North Stars one last time during the calendar year. Face off is set for 7:00PM inside Northern Lights Arena.
The IceDiggers are coming off a much needed seven day break where most if not all the players returned to their home towns to celebrate the holidays with their families.
Traverse City has played three games since Christmas Day and dropped all three to the Marquette Rangers.
"We are going to have to jump on them early they have not had much success the last few games, but they will come ready to play so we will have to be ready." said head coach Kenny Miller
In Alpena's last game before the break the IceDiggers dropped a 3-2 shootout loss at Traverse City. It was the IceDiggers first shootout of the year.
