
IceDiggers to honor Wildcats tonight

Alpena MI: The Alpena IceDiggers announced today they will honor the Alpena Wildcats high school hockey team tonight during the first intermission when they play host to the Mahoning Valley Phantoms. Face off is set for 7:00PM
The Wildcats (21-7-1) reached the final four of the Michigan high school state playoff's. Alpena won the regional championship on Saturday in Saginaw. The Wildcats were defeated by Grosse Pointe South 5-0 last night in Plymouth.
Head Coach Chris Limback and his staff along with all the Wildcat players will be honored tonight for their accomplishments this season. "We are all very proud of the Wildcats, they had a great season and it is an honor to have them here tonight." said head coach Kenny Miller
The Alpena IceDiggers will wear special event NASCAR jerseys tonight and tomorrow with the game worn jerseys being auctioned after Saturday nights game.
