Alpena MI: After playing six straight games away from the friendly confides of NLA the Alpena IceDiggers return home this Thursday night at 7:00PM at Northern Lights Arena to take on the USA U-17 team.
"It is good to get back here and play in front of the best fans in the league." said head coach Kenny Miller
The IceDiggers are coming off a weekend split against with the Mahoning Valley Phantoms in Ohio. On Friday the IceDiggers dropped the contest 4-1 but they rallied on Saturday to claim a 2-1 victory.
Alpena is currently 12-11-1 for 25 points. Team USA is 12-13-2 good for 26 points.
