IceDiggers announce preseason schedule

Alpena MI: The Alpena IceDiggers of the North American Hockey League on Thursday announced their 2006-2007 preseason schedule.

The IceDiggers will begin its preseason slate with a pair of home games at Northern Lights Arena on Friday Sept. 1 at 7:00PM and on Saturday Sept. 2 at 12:30PM versus the Marquette Rangers.

On Wednesday Sept. 6 at 7:00PM Alpena will travel to SOO Ontario to take on the SOO Thunderbirds (NOJHL) on Friday Sept. 8 the same two teams will tangle in Alpena. Face off is set for 7:00PM.

Season ticket holders will be admitted to all home preseason games free of charge. Admission for non season ticket holders will be $3.00 per person per game.

The Alpena IceDiggers open their 2nd season in Alpena with the regular season home opener on Sept. 22 versus Marquette at 7:00PM

Group tickets for all home games, along with season tickets are now on sale and are available by calling the IceDiggers at (989) 356-9812.
