DOWN TO THE WIRE: Tyler Pham's regulation goal was much like a Hollywood movie scene as the second-year forward lit the lamp on a bouncing puck with .3 seconds left on the clock. The University of Denver commit also scored in the shootout to seal the 4-3 win over Team USA.

WHAT MAN ADVANTAGE?: Indy's penalty kill continues to impress as the Ice has successfully killed 17 of their last 18 short-handed attempts. The last time an opponent scored on the power play was in the second period of Indy's 4-3 road win against the Youngstown Phantoms on January 26. The Ice's penalty kill efforts were key in Sunday's 4-3 shootout win against Team USA as Alex Talcott knotted the game at 3-3 with a short-handed goal late in the third period.

"PLOTTING" THE COURSE: Mikhail Plotnikov continues his steady offensive production this season as the Russian forward has three points (2G, A) in his past three games. In his first USHL season, Plotnikov has recorded a team-high six multiple-point games, including a four-point (G, 3A) contest against Team USA in mid January.

PLAYER AVENUES: Anderson Snair went a perfect 2-2 to win his first USHL shootout...Alex Talcott has goals in back-to-back games...Forward Patrick Newell recorded his first USHL point with an assist on Mikhail Plotnikov's goal on Sunday...Defenseman Vince Pedrie has assists in back-to-back games.

TEAM GROUPINGS: Indy has outshot opponents 143-114 over the past four games...The Ice is sixth in power play conversion on home ice (20.0%)...Indy has welcomed 3,100+ fans on their past two Sunday afternoon games...The Ice is second in penalty minutes per game (13.44).

ALUMNI SHOUT: Collegiately- Brent Gwidt (06-09) led Ice alumni in scoring with four points (2G, 2A) in two weekend wins for UNO...Multiple point weekends also included Kyle Bonis (07-08, Ferris State), Nick Bailen (05-08, 09-10, RPI), RJ Boyd (11-12, Michigan State), and Christian Hilbrich (10-12, Cornell...In net, Jon Gillies (10-12, Providence) tossed a 37-save 1-0 shutout last week and outdueled former teammate Casey DeSmith (09-11, New Hampshire)...Professionally- Paul Carey (07-08) tallied four goals last week for Lake Erie, AHL...Torey Krug (08-09) continued his point parade with five assists last week for Providence, AHL.
