Regina, SK - The Kootenay ICE (9-29-6-1) visit the Regina Pats (12-30-1-1) for the first time this season on Wednesday, January 16.

The ICE are coming off of a 2-0 victory over the Swift Current Broncos on January 15. The ICE received goals from Peyton Krebs and Jaeger White. Krebs and White each recorded one goal and one assist while Jakin Smallwood registered a helper. Goaltender Jesse Makaj stopped 16 shots for his first career WHL shutout. The ICE outshot the Broncos 34-16. They went 1-for-6 on the power play, 4-for-4 on the penalty kill and won 39-of-67 face-offs.
The ICE have amassed 25 points this season, which is good for sixth in the Central Division and 11th in the Eastern Conference.
