Cranbrook B.C. - The Kootenay ICE picked up a 5-3 victory over the Kamloops Blazers during its Teddy Bear, Toque & Mitten Toss Night presented by A&W on Friday, December 14.

ICE forward Davis Murray scored the goal that sent the bears flying onto the playing surface at the 2:23 mark of the first period. The ICE also received goals from Peyton Krebs, Jaeger White, Jakin Smallwood and River Fahey. Krebs, White and Michael Milne each recorded two points in the game. Goaltender Jesse Makaj stopped 37-of-40 shots in the victory.

The Blazers got two goals from Quinn Schmiemann and the other from Connor Zary.
