
Ice prepared for fifth anniversary opening weekend

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The 2006-07 season is just a few weeks away for the Binghamton Senators, and the task of laying the ice and logos is under way at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. A special fifth anniversary logo will be placed at center ice to celebrate the B-Sens anniversary season.
The playing surface will be completed by the end of the week. The B-Sens first game on the new ice will be against Syracuse on Oct. 7th. The Senators then host Bridgeport on Oct. 8th. The club is offering a special discount price to fans that wish to purchase tickets to both games.
Fans may purchase a ticket to both games for only $27 (ends) or $28 (sides) with a $2 youth discount. This special opening weekend ticket package will go on sale Monday, Sept. 18. Individual tickets will go on sale Monday, Sept. 25. Season tickets also remain on sale.
Tickets are available at the B-Sens front office on the third floor of the Arena. That office is open from 8a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The office can also be reached by calling (607) 722-SENS.
