Ice Playoff Schedule Set

Indiana Ice News Release
The Ice clinched a playoff berth for the sixth consecutive season and join Green Bay, Cedar Rapids and Waterloo as East Division playoff squads. The first round is an exact replica of last year as Green Bay is the #1 seed facing #4 seed Waterloo and the #2 seed Cedar Rapids does battle with the #3 seed Ice. (Stay tuned in the coming days for first round dates, times, and venues)
THE LONG AND WINDING ROAD: As the Ice close out the regular this weekend on the road, several players are closing in on all-time Indiana franchise records.
Nick Bailen- Will depart Indianapolis this year as the all-time leader in games played (218+)
Byron Paulazzo- Enters weekend with a (+22) plus/minus...Franchise record is (+20) set
in 2007-08 by Robert Martini-Niagara
Cab Morris- Enters weekend with a 2.52 GAA...Single season record is a 2.59 GAA set last year

Anthony Bitetto/Bailen- Duo is the top scoring defensemen duo in franchise history (79+)
Antti Roppo- Franchise best for multiple goal games in a season and all-time (8+)
THE LONG AND WINDING ROAD: Bryon Paulazzo has 13 points (8G, 5A) in his last ten games...Max Cook has five points (2G, 3A) in his last five games...The Ice broke a six-game winless skid (0-5-1) with Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over Sioux Falls...Nic Dowd returned from an eight-game hiatus (injury) to score the game-winner along with an assist in Saturday's victory over Sioux Falls.
FROZEN FOUR: After a weekend of regional action, the 2010 Frozen Four is set with Miami University, Boston College, Wisconsin and RIT set to make the trip to Ford Field in Detroit, MI for games on 4/8 and 4/10. The four-team field includes ten Ice alumni as each team in the Frozen Four has an Indiana representative on the squad.
Regional Heroes- Cameron Schilling scored the game-winner and Cody Reichard made 16 saves in Miami's 2-1 win over UAH on Saturday...Paul Carey assisted on the game-winner in Boston College's 3-1 victory over Alaska on Saturday...John Mitchell and Aaron Bendickson combined for three goals in Wisconsin's 5-3 win over St. Cloud on Friday...Jared DeMichiel stopped 63 shots in RIT wins over New Hampshire and Denver.
