Ice on Three Game Win Streak

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Ice (7-9-2) look to extend their season long winning streak to four games when they host the Chicago Steel Friday night at the St. Vincent Sports Rink at Pepsi Coliseum. The puck is set to drop at 7:05 pm.
After going winless in their previous seven games the Ice has found a groove and has outscored their opponents 9-3 enabling them to capture wins over Western Conference opponents Sioux City and Dubuque and Eastern Conference foe Team USA.
While the team rides a winning streak individuals also look to extend personal streaks in a win over the Steel. Blake Coleman rides the coattails of a four game point streak (2G, 6A) and is currently tied for second in the USHL in assists (16) and fourth in points (22). The defensive pair of Nick Mattson and Tim Smith have combined for seven points (3G, 4A) in their last three contests including Smith's overtime tally in last Saturday's victory over Team USA.
Saturday night (12/11) the Ice continue their weekend homestand when they welcome Team USA to the Pepsi Coliseum. The Ann Arbor based developmental program of under-17 players will make their first trip of the 2010-11 season to Indianapolis. Faceoff will happen at 7:05 p.m.
