[KISSIMMEE, Fla.] -The Florida Seals invite all local media outlets to take place in a historic event. Beginning at 10am, Friday September 9, 2005, the ice installation begins at the Silver Spur Arena.
The first step in the process is considered by some to be the most major. The existing arena will be surveyed, measured, outlined and finally cut for the ice damn and pipes to be installed. It will be a great photo opportunity for all media interested in a something that has never happened at a venue this size in Osceola County.
All media is invited to the Silver Spurs Arena throughout the day to witness the steps in installing a professional ice plant for hockey and figure skating. Today is just the first day of many in which the process will begin, but it is the truest sign that the Silver Spurs Arena will have their first ever hockey game played on October 29 when the Florida Seals take on the Jacksonville Barracudas.
Any media who wish to view the event, talk to the construction company or speak to Seals staff on the process are invited to come to the Silver Spurs Arena throughout the day on Friday, September 9, 2005. Photographers are welcome and encouraged to attend as well.
