INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Ice (6-9-2) return to the St. Vincent Sports Rink at Pepsi Coliseum after a four game road trip for an encounter with Team USA. Face-off is set for 7:05 pm.
The Ice snapped a seven game winless streak with back-to-back wins over Western Conference opponents Sioux City and conference leader Dubuque last weekend.
During the team's current two game win streak forwards Blake Coleman and Peter Schneider thrashed their opponents for nine points combined (4G, 5A) and a plus-ten rating. On the defensive side Nick Mattson has provided three points (1G, 2A) to go with his plus-three rating. In goal, Casey DeSmith and John Gillies have shared the duty in net each recording a victory.
Friday night's match-up will not only feature Team USA's first trip to Indy this season but is also an "Affordable Friday." Fans in attendance will enjoy select concession items such as Farmland hot dogs, popcorn and 12-ounce Bud Light and Pepsi products for only $2 a piece. Also, the first 100 fans at the box office will have the ability to purchase $10 tickets for just $5.
Individual tickets for all home games start as low as $10 and there is a $2 discount for children 10 and under and seniors 62 and over. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster by calling 1-800-745-3000, online at ticketmaster.com or by visiting select Wal-Mart and Simon Mall locations, the Pepsi Coliseum or Conseco Fieldhouse box offices.
