ROLLIN' ROLLIN' ROLLIN': The Ice improved to a perfect 11-0-0 at home and 13-1-0 in their last 14 games with three victories last week which included a win over Ohio and a weekend sweep of Chicago. The Ice enter this week's play with a USHL-best 17-4-0 record and is on the heels of a six-game win streak which is one win shy of the franchise-best seven-game win streak accomplished earlier this season.
CHART-TOPPERS: With two wins last week, goaltender Scott Darling extended his Ice all-time best win streak to nine games which includes a 2.31 GAA and a .927 save percentage.....John Kemp's franchise-best assist and point streaks came to a close on Wednesday at 12 games, but with four assists on the weekend he went over 150 points in an Ice uniform....Greg Squires' shorthanded goal in Saturday's win at Chicago was his fifth of his Ice career and a new franchise-best passing former Ice forward Ryan Peckskamp who had four shorthanded tallies....Paul Carey set the new Ice landmark for shots in a game with 13 in Saturday's win, passing Justin Milo's old mark of ten set in 2005-06.
STATISTICAL INSANITY: Statistically speaking the Ice is unbeaten all over the hockey map. Indiana is a perfect 11-0-0 at home, 11-0-0 when leading after one and two periods and 9-0-0 in one-goal games.
STICKS-A-SEARING: Jake Skjodt has five points (3G, 2A) in his last two games....Greg Squires has six points (G, 5A) in his last three contests...Paul Carey has a goal in seven of his last ten games....Nick Bailen is riding a three-game assist and point streak...Cameron Schilling has a point in each of his last two games and leads all Ice players with a (+9) plus/minus.....Matt Hoyle is 2-0-0 with a 2.00 GAA and a .947 SV% in his last two starts in net....Will MacDonald and Stepan Novotny had multiple goal efforts in Wednesday's win over Ohio....Brian Harrison notched a goal and an assist and an Ice season-high (+4) plus/minus in Wednesday game with Ohio.
USHL KINGPINS: John Kemp is tied for first in points (33) and is first in assists (28)....Paul Carey is third in points (29), second in goals (19) and first in power play goals (11)...Greg Squires is tied for fifth in points (26) and is third in assists (18)....Scott Darling is tied for second in wins (11)...John Carlson is first among USHL defensemen in points (16).
ALUMNI WAVES: With 24 points (11G, 13A), Garrett Roe (2004-07) trails only Michigan's Kevin Porter (18G, 11A) in NCAA Division 1 hockey scoring....Nathan Lawrence (2005-06) had a goal in Alaska-Fairbanks 3-0 upset of number one ranked Miami-Ohio on Saturday.
