Ice Bats Celebrate "Hockey Weekend Across America"

(Austin, TX) - In conjunction with USA Hockey, the Austin Ice Bats are celebrating "Hockey Weekend Across America" at their Friday and Saturday games. On Tuesday, Ice Bats players appeared at Chaparral Ice Arena and Northcross Mall running clinics to educate people on hockey.
Friday is "Wear Your Jersey to Work of School Day", plus members of the Austin Roadrunner Hockey Program will receive a $5 discount on their ticket purchase when the Ice Bats host Rio Grande Valley at 7:35 PM at Chaparral Ice Arena.
Saturday, Austin Roadrunner members will receive the same discount, but Austin's Sled Hockey Team will also be competing during the intermission of the Bats' game vs. Bossier-Shreveport at 7:35 PM at Chaparral Ice Arena.
