Ice Announce 2013 Nella Rounsville Scholarship Recipient

Cranbrook, BC - The Kootenay ICE Hockey Club is pleased to announce that Sidney Reist has been named the recipient of the 10th annual Kootenay ICE / Nella Rounsville Scholarship. This award is presented to a graduating Mount Baker Secondary School student who excels both academically, athletically and contributes to the community through volunteering. Sidney receives a $2,500.00 scholarship for her achievement.
Sidney, who has a grade point average of 4.0 will be attending the College of the Rockies in the Fall and taking a University transfer course in Biology and Medicine. The Kootenay ICE organization would like to congratulate Sidney and wish her all the best in her post-secondary endeavors.
Since the inception of the scholarship in 2004 the Kootenay ICE and the Chynoweth Family have donated over $33,000 to graduating students at Mount Baker Secondary School.
