MAKE WAY FOR THE WOOKIE: Peter Mayhew, the man behind the Chewbacca mask, will be the featured guest on "Stars Wars Night" when the Ice host the Green Bay Gamblers this Saturday at 7 p.m. from the Pepsi Coliseum. The veteran actor stands at seven feet, three inches tall and will sign autographs at the game. He was recently granted American citizenship and has been busy touring the United States and Europe at various Star Wars and sci-fi conventions.

SPECIAL TEAMS PROWESS: Despite the team's recent 0-2-2 slide, the Ice continue to be one of the league's premier special teams units. Indy enters this week's play first in the USHL on the power play overall (15-71, 21.1%) and at home (8-29, 27.6%) and rank third overall on the penalty kill (63/71, 88.7%). In addition, the club has only allowed one shorthanded goal all season.

LEVEL LAWRENCE: Forward Nathan Lawrence has been a pleasant addition to the Ice line-up after arriving via trade from Waterloo before the season. The second-year USHL forward scored the team's lone goal in Saturday's loss at Sioux Falls and has registered a point in six of his last eight games. He also currently ranks second in the league with a .308 shooting percentage (4 goals on 13 shots).

PLAYER NOTES: Cody Reichard is 3-1-1 with a 2.56 GAA and a .908 save percentage in his last five starts in net...Eddie Del Grosso continues to lead all USHL defensemen in points (13), goals (6) and power play goals (5), even though he has been scoreless in his last four contests.... Garrett Roe has eight points (4G, 4A) in his last six games....Jay Sprague has points in eight of his last ten games.

"We played well on Friday, but there were some aspects of the game we just couldn't control. I think it was the most responsible game we've played all year on both ends of the rink." --Head Coach Dean Grillo, commenting on last Friday night's shootout loss to West Division-leading Sioux Falls

"[Saturday's] game got out of hand; certain areas of our game fell apart. We've learned and moved on from that game-we just need to put it all together consistently." --Head Coach Dean Grillo, after last Saturday's 5-1 loss to Sioux Falls
