As the Mississippi Surge prepares to embark on another set of three games in two and half days, fans can get an early start on seeing the weekend action by attending the Surge watch party Friday night at Mugshots Grill & Bar in the Edgewater View shopping center at Highway 90 and Eisenhower Drive.
The Surge will visit the Huntsville Havoc Friday in a 7:30 p.m. contest. Mugshots, which televises all of the Surge games, will be the site of another specail watch party. Fans who watch Friday's game at Mugshots will have the chance to win prizes through a number of contests and trivia questions.
On Saturday, it will be a road game in Pensacola for the Surge. Fans wishnig to attend that game can purchase tickets for only $15 through the Surge office at 594-3800 by 3 p.m. on Friday. Calls after 3 p.m. will not be able to be filled.
The busy weekend will wrap up for the Surge in a home game on Sunday afternoon at 3:05 as the Louisiana IceGators will visist the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. That will be the Surge's first Sunday afternoon game of the season, and the final game of the 2012 portion of the schedule.
