
Huntington Heroes To Hold First Tryout

Huntington Heroes News Release
The Huntington Heroes will hold an open tryout on Saturday, November 10th for all Indoor Football hopefuls. The tryout will be from 9am-12 pm at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in downtown Huntington, West Virginia. Registration will begin at 8am. Cost for the tryout $45 dollars ,cash or money order, if paid in advance and $55 dollars, cash or money order, the day of the tryout. Advance payment can be made at the Heroes office at the address below or at the arena the day of the tryout. All participants will be given a Huntington Heroes t-shirt at the door. Participants should come dressed for an indoor work out. Work out will include, but is not limited to, the L Drill, Short Shuttle, 40 Yard Dash, Individual Drill, as well as 1 on 1 and 3 on 3 Drills.
There will be a press conference immediately following the tryout, approximately 12:15, with the coaching staff and front office staff present.
There will also be tryouts for the 2008 Lady Heroes Dance Team the same day. The tryout is $25 dollars, cash or money order, and is open to all women 18 years and up. Women should bring a photo of themselves and be prepared to perform an individual dance, as well as be prepared to learn and perform a short group routine.
