Grand Rapids Rampage News Release
The Grand Rapids Rampage Arena Football team have announced that Huntington Bank will continue to be the 'Official Bank of the Grand Rapids Rampage" through the 2005 season.
The two-year deal means Huntington Banks will continue to reach Rampage fans through Rampage radio broadcasts, promotions, signage, community relations and special events.
The new agreement, like the previous arrangement, also features the "Huntington Hundred" -- a promotion which sends $100 to Special Olympics every time the Rampage score a touchdown at a home game. New this year, is a community initiative called "Financial First Down" where the Rampage and Huntington seek to improve personal financial skills in disadvantaged areas of the city.
The significant renewal continues to place Huntington Banks among the Rampage's most prominent corporate partners.
"Huntington Bank has developed into a magnificent corporate partner for the Rampage," said Rampage Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing Bob Sack. "In addition to their status as one of our largest partners, Huntington is outstanding in their activation of the partnership. We're delighted to have them with us for two more years."
"In recent years, the Rampage and Huntington have established themselves as premier organizations in this community," said Mike Lindley, Huntington's Vice President of Marketing. "Our shared objectives of innovation, service and community involvement make it fitting that our two teams join together for two more years."
The Huntington National Bank is the principal subsidiary of Huntington Bancshares Incorporated (NASDAQ: HBAN), a $26 billion regional bank holding company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio.
The Rampage embark on their seventh season in the Arena Football League this upcoming February. Season ticket plans are now available by calling 616.559.1871.
