
Houston Dynamo Trio Receive Green Cards

HOUSTON - Houston Dynamo forward Alberth Elis and defenders Maynor Figueroa and Alejandro Fuenmayor recently received their green cards from the United States government, the club announced today.
As a result of receiving their green cards, Elis, Figueroa and Fuenmayor will be designated as domestic players by Major League Soccer and will no longer occupy international slots on the Dynamo roster.
Defender Kyle Adams also acquired his green card prior to joining the Dynamo this offseason. A total of nine players on the Dynamo roster have a green card, including midfielder Darwin Cerén, midfielder Boniek GarcÃÂa, defender Adam Lundkvist, midfielder Tomás MartÃÂnez and forward Darwin Quintero.
The Dynamo now have seven international players on their roster: defender José Bizama (Chile), defender Victor Cabrera (Argentina), forward Mauro Manotas (Colombia), goalkeeper Marko MariÃâ¡ (Croatia), forward Ronaldo Peña (Venezuela), defender Aljaà ¾ 'Kiki' Struna (Slovenia) and midfielder MatÃÂas Vera (Argentina).
