Houston Dash Sign Defender Susanna Friedrichs to National Team Replacement Player Contract

HOUSTON -- The Houston Dash signed defender Susanna Friedrichs to a National Team Replacement Play (NTRP) contract, the team announced today.

Friedrichs most recently played overseas for UMF Selfoss in the Icelandic top-division during the 2021-22 seasons, making 20 appearances and 19 starts. The defender played collegiately at Virginia Commonwealth University where she was an All-Atlantic 10 First Team selection and scored six goals in 18 starts as a senior.

Friedrichs will be available for selection for Houston's upcoming 2023 UKG NWSL Challenge Cup match against Kansas City Current on Saturday, July 22 at Children's Mercy Park pending ITC receipt.
