Houston Dash Acquire 2018 Third-Round Pick from FC Kansas City For Moros

HOUSTON - The Houston Dash have acquired FC Kansas City's highest third-round draft pick in the 2018 NWSL College Draft in a trade for D Rebecca Moros, the club announced today. "Becca will do well in Kansas City and we wish her the best moving forward," Dash head coach Randy Waldrum said. "She'll bring a lot of experience and stability to Kansas City as they try to return to the playoffs." Moros, 31, started in 16 NWSL contests after joining Houston through a trade with the Western New York Flash prior to the 2016 NWSL regular season. The defender was tied with midfielders Carli Lloyd and Denise O'Sullivan for the third-most assists on the team with three. The defender will return to FCKC where she started in all 20 regular-season games for the Midwest outfit in 2015. The Dash open the 2017 season against the Chicago Red Stars on Saturday, April 15.
