KANSAS CITY- FC Kansas City (FCKC) announced the return of defensive veteran Becca Moros in a trade with the Houston Dash. In exchange, FCKC will send their highest third round draft choice in the 2018 NWSL College Draft.

"The knowledge and experience that Becca brings will be vital for us in achieving our goals for next season," said head coach Vlatko Andonovski. "She is a great player with great understanding of the game and can adjust to any style, system and philosophy very fast."

Moros has been a part of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) for the past three years. She has 58 appearances (53 starts) with three teams, Portland Thorns, FCKC and the Dash.

She was a member of the 2015 NWSL Champion FC Kansas City defense that did not allow a single goal throughout the playoff tournament. In 2015 with the Blues, Moros started all 20 games and added an assist.

The Blues will open their fifth regular season on April 16th against the Boston Breakers at Swope Soccer Village. Kickoff is now scheduled for 5:00 p.m. CT.

FC Kansas City is a founding member and proud two-time champion of the National Women's Soccer League. Fans can keep up-to-date on the most recent club news by following the Blues' official Twitter account (@FCKansasCity).
