Houston Aeros News Release

HOUSTON, Texas - The Houston Aeros have unveiled their new Rbk EDGE uniforms for the 2007-08 season. Aeros Rbk EDGE jerseys will be available to fans exclusively on Aeros.com later this month and at all Aeros home games. Jerseys can also be pre-ordered by contacting Jim Gadd at 713-361-7941.

The jerseys are part of the Rbk EDGE Uniform System that is being implemented this season throughout the AHL and NHL. The Rbk EDGE Uniform features technologically-advanced materials and fabrics that are more breathable, more resistant to water absorption and offer greater range of motion for today's hockey player. More than two years of extensive research, development and testing were performed by Reebok, with player feedback integral to the process

Reebok consulted some of the top scientific minds in the country to perform independent tests to validate the performance features of the Rbk EDGE Uniform System. Wind tunnel testing conducted at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) confirmed a nine percent reduction in drag, enabling a player to move faster on the ice. Central Michigan University's thermal regulation studies authenticated the effectiveness of the Rbk EDGE Uniform's core temperature management system, resulting in a cooler and drier player.

The Aeros begin the regular season on October 6 in Toyota Center versus the rival Chicago Wolves. Ticket packages are available by calling 713-974-PUCK. Single game tickets will go on sale later this month. The pre-season begins a week prior in Beaumont on September 29 with tickets available at all Ticketmaster outlets.
