Amerks' Individual Tickets To Go On Sale Monday, September 10th

(Rochester, NY)? Individual game tickets for all Rochester Americans? home games will go on sale on Monday, September 10th at 10:00 a.m. The Amerks open their 52nd season in the American Hockey League against the Syracuse Crunch on Friday, October 5th at The Blue Cross Arena at the Rochester War Memorial. Faceoff is scheduled for 7:35 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased at The Blue Cross Arena Box Office, all Ticketmaster locations, all Macy?s outlets (formerly Kaufmann's), the House of Guitars, Lakeshore Record Exchange, Unicorn Audio in Batavia and Ticket Express. Individual seats are priced at $20.00, $16.00, $12.00 and $10.00 and can also be purchased via phone by calling Ticketmaster at (585) 232-1900 or the Amerks Office at (585) 454-5335. Single seats are also available online at www.ticketmaster.com.

In 2007-08, the Amerks are also offering a Youth Price for kids 12 and under. Kids can now purchase 100 and 200 end seats for $10.00 and get 100 and 200 premium seats for just $13.00. The Amerks have also added a $6.00 Sunday ticket for kids 12 and under. The tickets, located in the 100 and 200 end seating areas, are available for five Sunday games from October through December. The dates of the games are October 7th, October 28th, November 11th, December 9th and December 30th.

?We recognize that the pricing structure has gone up in some areas and the youth pricing initiative offers some balance to those areas.?

The Rochester Americans continue to be in the lower pricing tier of the 29-team AHL. In fact, the Amerks have the seventh lowest average ticket price in the league.

The Amerks begin their preseason exhibition schedule on Friday, September 28th with a 7:30 p.m. game versus the defending Calder Cup Champion Hamilton Bulldogs at the ESL Sports Centre on the campus of MCC. The preseason action continues as the Amerks play the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. in Hagersville, Ontario, on Saturday, September 29th.
