Bend, OR - The Central Oregon Hotshots opened their home season with a 112-97 win over the Portland Chinooks in front of 977 fans at Mountain View High School on Friday. The victory is the second straight for Central Oregon, and improves the Hotshots to 4-2 on the season.
Arthur Lewis and Phillip Freeman each scored 22 points to lead the Hotshots. Terry Horton added a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds in his 2008 debut. Chris Stephens was the game's top scorer with a 25 point effort for the Chinooks.
