The Tupelo FireAnts lost Saturday night, 43-22 against the Lexington Horsemen at the BancorpSouth Center in Tupelo, MS.
Despite the FireAnts offensive push with Chris Rainey, Allen Copeland, and Darryl Carter all coming away with TD's on the night, the âAnts were not able to stop the Horsemen's efforts.
FireAnts quarterback Anthony Dunn completed four of 16 passes for 33 yards, including one interception. âAnts WR/QB Darryl Carter also came into the game in the quarterback role, and completed four of five passes for 63 yards and one touchdown connection.
The FireAnts take on the Ohio Valley Greyhounds in two weeks on home turf in Tupelo, MS on Friday, June 13th. For more information, call the FireAnts at (662) 620-BITE.
